This base is for the main army, not the recruits who are being trained. It is where the leaders and higher ups usually meet to consult each other about attacks and battle reports.

Rank Descriptions:
Head General: Basically, the Head General rules the army. No one disses, or challenges the authority of this person. They are the most powerful, most intelligent, bravest of the warriors. They deal with every problem, and often call meetings and help the tactician plan out attacks.
Tactician: The Tactician is one of the most sly members of the Army. They plan out battles, retreats, and they help give advice to the Head General. They are generally powerful members of the Army, but their strength doesn't match their wits. They can seldom be outfoxed by any, and are to be treated with respect.
Head of Defenses: The Head of Defenses is the Head of the Reconnaissance Patrol and the Guardsmen. They manage the defenses, help check the canons and defense weapons, and they make sure that the fort has all of the supplies that they need. If they are running low on water, they will send a Patrol member to send for more water. Overall, they lead the defenses, and strengthen the Homefront. Most of the time, they stay at Alagan, but, rarely, they go to Herne to get more Guardsmen or Rec. Patrol members.
Head Sage: Basically, the Head Sage is the best magician of the group. They teach privates how to handle magic, and they often launch magic attacks onto the foe. They don't really use weapons other than magic.
Assassin: There is only one assassin in the ranks, and they are generally a spy who was exceptionally good at killing someone. They are crafty, smart, and they are obedient no matter what. Assassins are the best killers, and they are good at sneaking into enemy strongholds. The Assassin mainly works on training the spies when he's not on a mission.
Commander: The commander is over all of the Navy. He is good at steering ships, and he knows the ocean currents very well. The Commander answers to the Head General, who is the head of the offenses as well. The Commander manages the Seamen, who are in the Navy. He usually stays at Herne to train the troops, because that base is by the ocean. However, occasionally, he comes to Alagan to check on the Seaman who are opperating the boats on the rivers and lakes.
Major: The Major is basically the trainer of the privates. He makes sure that they are in top shape, and he usually leads the battles when the Head General is too busy to lead. The Major is a very good warrior, and leads the ground troops.
Wing Commander: The Wing Commander rules the air force, and usually is going between Herne and Alagan. This person is in charge of the Aircraftmen, and teaches them how to fly. He is basically like the Major and Commander, only, he is in charge of the air force.
Seamen: Seamen are in the Navy, and help sail the large ships. They can also operate the guns on the ships. They aren't a very high rank, but their job is important to make sure that the oceans remain in the Head General's Control. The Seamen are split up between Herne (where they work on the ocean), and Alagan (where they work on the large rivers and lakes).
Private: Privates are your average soldier, under the command of the Major. Generally, Privates are the most needed rank, and they are split up between Herne and Alagan. They are the main army, and they fight on the land.
Aircraftmen: Generally, these stay at various bases, waiting for bombing missions, or waiting until the foe attacks. They can double as Privates sometimes, but only when the land army is in desperate need of some more soldiers. Aircraftmen are under the Wind Commander.
Secret Agents: These are spies, in other words. They go from village to village, asking around and intermingling with the commoners. They are very good at lying and changing their appearence. Secret Agents also can go into the Dark Army to infilterate their ranks and find out when and where the bad guys are going to attack.
Guardsmen: These are regular guards, in other words. Though the job may seem boring, they know the country very well, and they are good at keeping fortresses under the Head General's control. They can also be called into battle with the Privates, but that happens only if the battle is far away from the forts, and if they are in serious need of more soldiers. Guardsmen are at both Herne and Alagan.
Reconnaissance Patrol: These are basically scouts. They go and see if troops are coming, and they call for assisstance. Rec. Patrol members can also double as Privates, but they mainly scout the land, send messages from Herne to Alagan, and transport messages from the spies to the bases.
Prisoners: Basically anyone on the other side who got caught. They are always transported to Alagan for questioning.
Traitors: Anyone who betrayed us.
